Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Eight Mile, AL, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering personalized, high‑quality care aimed at helping patients regain mobility and independence.

As part of our team, you will assist with treatment plans, conduct patient evaluations, document progress, and educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and self‑care. Alabama PTA licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field.
• Current Alabama PTA license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct patient evaluations, tests, and assessments to determine patient needs.
• Implement and administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in patient education and training to promote independence and self-care.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, adhering to safety and infection control standards.
