Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field is required.
• 0 years of experience is acceptable; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Current Alabama PTA license is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct patient evaluations, tests, and assessments.
• Implement and administer PT treatments including exercises and modalities.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams for coordinated care.
• Educate patients to promote independence and self-care.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment.
