Job summary

Compassionate Care Home Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home-based therapy in California City, Rosamond, Boron and surrounding areas. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement plans of care and help patients regain function at home.

Ideal candidates have PTA credentials and one year of healthcare experience, preferably in home health. Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and collaboration with the care

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA seeking employment in home health settings.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred, home health preferred.
• PTA credential and passing the PTA exam are required or substantially equivalent per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services per the patient’s plan of care.
• Prepare clinical and progress notes.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
• Update PT on patient status and changes in condition.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with the care team.
