Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Bristol Glen, a UMC community in Newton, NJ. This per diem position offers $40 per hour and a chance to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Graduate of accredited therapy program (required).
• 2+ years of related experience (required).
• Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant in New Jersey (required).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in providing therapy treatments and procedures.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and daily living activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Provide support and encouragement during therapy activities.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
