Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services to residents per standards and procedures.
• Adhere to documentation and billing procedures for PTA services.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in evaluation, planning, implementation, and follow-up of resident therapy programs.
• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine intervention needs.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents and families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
