Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, leading mobility and gait activities, documenting promptly, and ensuring safe use of walkers, wheelchairs, and orthotics.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide skilled, individualized care to adults in a supportive, community-based setting. Setting: Outpatient Pediatrics, School Based Schedule: Part-time or full-time opportunities available License Requirement: Active PTA license

Your Role in Action

In This Role, You Will

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising PT, focusing on strength, balance, endurance, mobility, balance, developmental milestones.
• Lead or assist with functional movement activities such as sit-to-stand transfers, gait training, and balance exercises
• Support participants in maintaining safe mobility and independence during daily activities within the center
• Monitor and assist with adaptive equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, orthotics) to ensure safety and proper use
• Engage participants in motivating, functional exercises that promote participation and enjoyment
• Observe and report changes in function, safety, or medical status to the supervising PT and care team
• Complete electronic documentation in a timely and compliant manner
