Job summary

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our full-time rehabilitation team. The facility supports 160 beds with a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gym and provides services 7 days a week.

New graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities include carrying out PTA-approved treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, documenting progress, and collaborating with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Must hold a valid NY PTA license/registration.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Excellent documentation skills and timely progress notes.
• Ability to work under supervision of Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments under PT supervision.
• Document patient progress weekly.
• Collaborate with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
