Job summary

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our full-time rehabilitation team. New graduates are welcome to apply and we offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The PTA will perform treatments under a Physical Therapist, contribute to care plans, and document patient progress. Licensed NY PTA must be maintained, with experience in long-term or geriatric care preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant college or university.
• Must have a valid NY state license/registration.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation and timely progress notes are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard PTA treatments under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Provide treatments aligned with goals set by the PT.
• Provide feedback to supervising PT via documentation per facility policy.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
