Job summary

Reid Home Health in Richmond, IN is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to help patients regain independence at home. You will work with the PT, patients and families to deliver patient-centered care and meet established goals, in a supportive home-health setting.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), competitive wages, mileage reimbursement, and generous benefits including health, dental, and vision plans, tuition reimbursement, and a Fidelity 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
• One year PTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients at home to regain independence by improving mobility, strength and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with PT, patients, families and healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
• Help achieve established patient goals and coordinate care within the home health team.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• Active registered PTA license in the state which you practice
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
• One-year Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License and automobile insurance
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations
