Job summary

Phoenix Physical Therapy in Reiffton, PA, United States seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist by preparing patients and equipment for treatment and assisting with selected procedures.

You will maintain a patient treatment schedule, communicate with the care team, ensure safety, and help keep the facility clean and organized. CPR certification required; associate degree from PTA program; two years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy or PTA program from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience preferred in a Physical Therapy facility, nursing home or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient treatment schedule aligned with the facility's needs.
• Confer with care team members and inform about patient needs, treatment modifications and progress.
• Aid in patient care and safety; prepare equipment for treatments as directed.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in selected procedures, monitoring patient and equipment for comfort and safety.
