Job summary

eZone Staffing, LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join a locally owned therapy practice serving children and families in the Black Hills. Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
  • Experience in outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient units, or home health environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation practices.
  • Ability to operate medical equipment safely and follow safety protocols.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ mobility, strength, and overall well‑being. Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments, ensuring safety and proper functionality.
  • Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately in electronic health records (EHR) following clinical documentation standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers about treatment procedures, progress updates, and home exercise programs to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and adhere to all clinical documentation protocols to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
  • Proven experience in outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient units, or home health environments preferred.
