Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of North Platte is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and to support our residents in maintaining function and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, educating caregivers, ensuring confidentiality, and coordinating with the supervising PT to optimize treatment.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduated from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):

• Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follow all regulations and guidelines including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
• Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and professionally conducts themselves at all times.
• Provide documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
• Regularly discuss with the supervising Physical Therapist the patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed.
• Ensure safe treatment practices and monitor patients’ engagement and responses to treatment modifications as necessary.

Qualifications for Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
