Job summary

Newberry County Memorial Hospital in South Carolina is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist to plan, organize, and implement a pediatric outpatient physical therapy program, with some inpatient/outpatient adult coverage as needed.

Shifts are primarily weekday with occasional weekend rotation. Applicants must have current or temporary SC licensure eligibility and BLS certification; prior PTA

Qualifications

• Current or temporary licensure or eligibility for licensure in SC.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior PTA clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Plans, organizes, and implements a pediatric outpatient physical therapy program, with potential inpatient/outpatient adult coverage as needed.
• Documents assessments and treatments for individual patients.

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team!

With direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant administers optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing a physical therapy program including assessment, documentation and treatment of individual patients. This position is primarily with pediatric outpatients, but will flex to cover both inpatient and outpatient adults, as needed. Shifts will be primarily weekday with occasional weekend rotation.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a current or temporary licensure or eligibility for licensure in SC. BLS certification required.
• Prior clinical Physical Therapy Assistant experience preferred.
