Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at Mt. Lebanon is seeking a energetic Physical Therapy Assistant to join our compassionate care team in Mt. Lebanon, PA.

You will support residents’ mobility, balance, and independence under the supervision of a physical therapist, delivering therapeutic exercises and safe mobility training in a supportive environment. We value teamwork, thorough documentation, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania state license.
• Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, mobility, lessening pain, and improving ROM.
• Implement treatment plans developed by supervising physical therapists.
• Assist patients with functional mobility, transfers, gait training, and stair negotiation.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve endurance, coordination, and independence with daily activities.
• Educate patients on safe mobility techniques, proper use of assistive devices, and fall-prevention strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and changes in functional status.
• Collaborate with the other team members to support patient safety, rehabilitation goals, and discharge planning to provide comprehensive care
• Complete daily required documentation
