Madrid Home Communities is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team, responsible for administering physical therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist's evaluation and plan of care. Requirements of a Physical Therapy Assistant:

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Valid license or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Iowa
• High-level verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership and customer relationship skills
• Ability to exercise mature judgment and analyze problems proactively

Responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Assistant:

• Assist with the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established treatment plans and state guidelines
• Provide direct patient care primarily to adult and geriatric patients
• Assist in establishing restorative nursing programs
• Maintain appropriate patient schedules as per guidelines
