Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Lely Palms in Naples, FL is hiring a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. Join a dedicated group of professionals delivering compassionate, personalized care to residents.

The PTA must be licensed (or eligible) in Florida, have PT experience preferred, and commit to upholding confidentiality and high professional standards. AHCA background screening is required, with competitive benefits and flexible PRN opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program and licensure in Florida.
• Current license or eligibility to practice as PTA in Florida.
• Prior experience in physical therapy preferred.
• Membership in state/national APTA organizations preferred.
• Professional attitude, appearance, and strong administrative skills.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and work with medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services as part of rehab team on a PRN basis.
• Assist with patient treatment plans and progress.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with AHCA background screening.
• Adhere to Florida AHCA background screening requirements.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other personnel.
• Maintain safety and professional standards.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Qualifications:

• Successful graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program recognized by the appropriate accrediting agency at the time of graduation, and successful completion of the applicable examination required for licensure.
• Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Association organizations preferred.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in physical therapy.
• Thorough knowledge of potential hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and obtain their cooperation with prescribed treatment plans.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with medical staff and other personnel.
• Demonstrate emotional stability to cope with the demands of working with both patients and employees.
• Must maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement preferred.
