Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Lely Palms in Naples, FL is hiring a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. The role offers flexible PRN hours and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on compassionate, personalized care.

The PTA must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida, have completed an accredited PTA program, and bring professional attitude and good interpersonal skills. AHCA background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA education program.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice as a PTA in Florida.
• Prior PT experience preferred.
• Membership in state/national APTA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PTA services as part of Solaris HealthCare Lely Palms rehab team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Act in accordance with Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening requirements.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Qualifications:

• Successful graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program recognized by the appropriate accrediting agency at the time of graduation, and successful completion of the applicable examination required for licensure.
• Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Association organizations preferred.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in physical therapy.
• Thorough knowledge of potential hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and obtain their cooperation with prescribed treatment plans.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with medical staff and other personnel.
• Demonstrate emotional stability to cope with the demands of working with both patients and employees.
• Must maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement preferred.
