Job summary

Ocean Beach Health seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. You will work with physical therapists to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence, delivering hands-on therapy and guiding rehab exercises in a patient-centered setting.

The role requires WA PTA licensure, PTA program completion, BLS within 6 months, and is supported by a collaborative, compassionate team with strong community ties on the Long Beach Peninsula.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Washington State PTA license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required within 6 months of hire.
• One year in a clinical healthcare setting preferred.
• Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivering hands-on therapy and guiding rehabilitation exercises.
• Supporting patients and families with education and encouragement.
• Assisting with infection control and patient safety practices.
• Collaborating with physical therapists on treatment plans and progress.
• Contributing to community outreach and wellness initiatives.

What You'll Need

• Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program
