Position Overview (Local and Onsite)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a part-time position, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment in the future, if desired. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' mobility, strength, function, and overall well-being. This role involves direct patient care, assisting with therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, and helping to create a supportive and encouraging environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Pay

• $28-$35 an hour depending on experience.
