Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our Therapy Services team in Georgia. You will assist with implementing the care plan and documenting progress under the supervision of a licensed therapist.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care and professional growth within a leading post-acute provider. This position requires a GA PTA license and CAPTE-accredited education; relocation opportunities and a supportive, safety-conscious work environment are highlights of

Qualifications

• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• CAPTE-accredited program; foreign-trained must be substantially equivalent to U.S. PTA education by a credential evaluation organization approved by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the Physical Therapy care plan/treatment as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician.
• Perform clinical tasks, documentation, and timely communication per policy.
• Follow policies and procedures related to the scope of practice.
• Recognize priorities in patient care and respond appropriately.
• Complete orientation, in-services, and trainings timely and successfully.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
