Physical Therapy Assistant Job in Frederick, MD

Amber Hill Physical Therapy is hiring for a Physical Therapy Assistant job in Frederick, MD, and we're looking for someone who values patient-centered care and can work both independently and collaboratively with our physical therapy team. As a small, women- and PT-owned business, we provide physical and occupational therapy in a caring and friendly environment for patients throughout Frederick and neighboring communities. In this role, you'll support physical therapists with patient care while helping people understand and participate in their treatment.

A Patient-Centered Approach to Care

At Amber Hill Physical Therapy, our goal is to provide the best quality physical and occupational therapy in a professional, patient-centric, and supportive environment. You'll work directly with patients as they complete therapeutic exercises, participate in therapeutic activities, and receive other treatments under the direction of the physical therapy team.

This position is well suited to a Physical Therapist Assistant who takes responsibility for providing thoughtful patient support and understands the importance of clear communication and education. You'll help patients use therapeutic exercises and equipment properly, document their progress and outcomes, and contribute to a clean and safe environment for care.

Supporting Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Care

In this role, you'll assist physical therapists with treatment and help implement patient treatment plans. You'll also assist with the development of treatment plans and with orthopedic evaluations and assessments, giving you an active role in the day-to-day delivery of physical therapy services.

We are looking for someone with experience in physical and rehabilitation medicine as well as orthopedics. You'll need to be comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with the physical therapy team to support consistent, quality patient care.

Compensation:

• $28.00 per hour base salary

Qualifications:
