Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the Department of Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Serves as Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a designated work area within the Womack Army Medical Center, Department of Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Performs a wide range of duties requiring an advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy, evidence-based practice and data collection to perform specific aspects of evaluations and interventions.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience which includes performing physical therapy modalities according to treatment plans; coordinating patient care plans with physical therapists; entering patient data into automated systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
