Job summary

Discovery at Home in Florida is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team providing home health and outpatient therapy services. You will support the PT in planning and delivering patient care, assist with exercises and ADLs, and help educate patients and families to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, state licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of home health experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed by the State as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• One year of home health experience required.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; able to use Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health and/or outpatient services as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
