Michigan Ear Institute is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our outpatient clinic in Farmington Hills, MI. Weekdays only; part-time consideration may be possible. Must be a licensed PTA in Michigan with outpatient experience preferred.

You will assist licensed therapists in delivering treatment plans, document sessions in EMR, and participate in patient and family discharge planning while maintaining records and billing documentation.

• Outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Good documentation and EMR skills helpful.

• Provide quality physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist PTs in treatment and progress patients per plan.

Must be a licensed PTA.**Job Position:**Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Weekdays only, Outpatient Clinic, One location.Open to considering Part time option if needed.**Job responsibilities will include:*** To provide quality physical therapy services within the PTA scope of practice under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards.* Assists physical therapists in treatment of patients by implementing an established treatment plan, progressing patient through the therapeutic plan, communicating with internal and external contacts regarding treatment, and documenting treatments and charges, all under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.* Designs and implements the treatment program in accordance with the treatment plan using exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and instruction that have been reviewed with the attending therapist.* Communicates with the intra/interdisciplinary team regarding the treatment and involves the patient, family, and /or significant other in treatment and discharge planning all under the direction of a physical therapist.* Daily paperwork.
