CareOne is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join its in-house rehab team in Cresskill, NJ. You will work closely with nursing and clinical staff to deliver high-quality rehab care and ensure consistent patient outcomes within a supportive, stable team.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in PTA and an active NJ license, with preference for geriatric rehab experience and knowledge of healthcare regulations. Expect facility collaboration and potential travel to other centers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant’s (PTA) overall responsibility is to provide care to the resident at the highest level.

Position Information

• Location: Cresskill, NJ
• Salary Range $30 - $45 per hour
• Facility: CareOne at Cresskill
• Practice Setting: (Short Term Rehab, Assisted Living, LTACH, Long Term Care)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis

Position Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
• Prefer knowledge in government and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
