Department: Ambulatory Services | Lewis Center Physical Therapy
Under the supervision of the Team Leader and Director of Sports Medicine, and the clinical supervision of physical therapists, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides treatment according to a physical therapy plan of care. The PTA treats patients in accordance with Ohio laws and rules governing physical therapy practice.
The PTA in Sports Medicine provides interventions for a patient population mainly consisting of active individuals with orthopedic conditions.
2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Completion of an approved physical therapy assistant education program, and Ohio licensure
