Job summary

The Center for Disability Services in Albany is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our clinical team for a full-time role located at 314 South Manning Blvd. You will work with the PTs, physicians, families, and treatment teams to provide individualized therapy services to individuals we support.

Requirements include a PTA degree from an accredited program and NYS licensure; new graduates are welcome. EMR proficiency and strong teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• NYS State Licensure, active and in good standing.
• Experience is helpful, but new graduates will be considered.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and use EMR effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, family and treatment teams to provide individualized therapy services.
• Maintain and document patient progress using an electronic medical record (EMR).
