We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join the American Mercy Home Health team. The PTA assists patients in their homes to regain independence by improving mobility, strength, and functional abilities. The PTA collaborates with PTs, patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in their homes to improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with PTs, patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Provide patient-centered care to help patients regain independence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active registered PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• One year of PTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
