Job summary

St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitation services under the supervision of the Rehab Manager and PT staff.

You will prepare patients and equipment, administer therapy, and document progress while promoting teamwork within the healthcare team. Education requirements include an associate degree and PTA program completion; licensure as required by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a PTA program (accredited).
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
• Ability to prepare patients and equipment, administer therapy, and document progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for physical therapy and administers therapy following evaluation.
• Promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Rehab Manager, Lead Physical Therapist, and Staff Physical Therapists.

Prepares patients and equipment for physical therapy; following initial evaluation by registered physical therapist, administers therapy, and performs documentation. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: Associate degree, Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

Licensure: Current licensure or eligible for licensure by Missouri State Board of Healing Arts
