Professional PT, the Northeast's leading provider of physical, occupational, and hand therapy, is seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team and help patients regain strength, mobility, and overall well‑being.

As a Physical Therapy Aide you will work closely with licensed therapists to set up equipment, monitor treatment areas, assist patients, and maintain a clean, organized space across our network of clinics in Manhattan, NYC, and beyond.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting or prolonged standing.
• Adheres to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for patient sessions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment during treatment sessions.
• Escort patients to and from treatment areas and provide assistance as necessary.
• Maintain an organized and clean treatment area.
• Prepare hot and cold packs.
• Maintain and clean treating tables.
• Aides are responsible for laundry.
