Job summary

Professional PT, the leading provider of physical, occupational, and hand therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. You will work closely with licensed therapists to assist in treatment and support patients on their rehabilitation journey.

With clinics across the Northeast, you will help set up treatment areas, monitor equipment, transport patients, and maintain clean spaces, all while upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for lifting and standing.
• Complies with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for patient sessions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment as needed during treatment sessions.
• Escort patients to and from treatment areas and assist as necessary.
• Maintain an organized and clean treatment area.
• Prepares hot and cold packs.
• Maintains and cleans the treating tables.
• Aides are responsible for laundry.
