Athletico Physical Therapy in Ames, IA is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You’ll greet patients, assist during treatments, and help with non-clinical and clinical tasks while complying with state practice act requirements.

This part-time role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and attention to detail; you’ll handle intake, scheduling, and light administrative duties, with benefits including retirement options and wellness

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or intern preferred.
• Work experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and time management required.
• Demonstrates compassion toward patients and is a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during treatments.
• Safeguards and motivates patients during exercises and functional activities.
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and basic modalities.
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens and maintains restrooms and supply areas.
• Assists with answering phones, scheduling, and filing paperwork.
• Keeps track of clinic supplies and may order inventory.
