Tx:Team seeks a full-time Physical Therapy Aide (Rehabilitation Aide) to support our hospital acute therapy team in Frederick, MD. This role is ideal for students and graduates pursuing careers in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, SLP, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Nursing, and related healthcare fields.

You will work directly with licensed therapists, assist patients through rehabilitation, and gain valuable clinical experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital acute setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to fulfill the weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists during patient treatment sessions.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.
• Prepare treatment areas before and after appointments.
• Maintain, clean, and organize rehabilitation equipment and rehab area.
• Stock supplies and treatment areas.
• Assist with patient flow.
• Monitor and organize therapy equipment.
• Support therapists with daily clinical operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient and visitor.
