Job summary

Frederick Health Hospital in Maryland is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Aide (Rehabilitation Aide) to support our acute therapy team. You’ll work directly with licensed therapists, assist patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, and gain valuable clinical experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role offers Monday–Friday scheduling with weekend and holiday requirements, hands-on learning across therapeutic exercises, rehab equipment, and patient flow, and opportunities to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital acute setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to fulfill the weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists during patient treatment sessions.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.
• Prepare treatment areas before and after appointments.
• Maintain, clean, and organize rehabilitation equipment and rehab area.
• Stock supplies and treatment areas.
• Assist with patient flow.
• Monitor and organize therapy equipment.
• Support therapists with daily clinical operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient and visitor.
