Job summary

North Lake Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to support licensed therapists in Portland. The role focuses on assisting during treatment, patient transport, and keeping treatment areas clean and organized.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, and strong teamwork and communication. A friendly, patient-focused approach will help deliver quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Proficiency in patient transfer techniques and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic anatomy/physiology.
• Experience with electronic health records systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists during treatment sessions and exercises.
• Safely transport and transfer patients to and from treatment areas.
• Prepare, sanitize, and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records.
• Monitor and maintain therapy supply inventory.
• Perform administrative tasks including phones and documentation.
• Support therapists in patient education and exercise demonstrations.
• Ensure safety protocols and infection control compliance.
