Job summary

Highbar Physical Therapy is seeking an Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapy Aide to support licensed clinicians in a busy outpatient clinic. This non-licensed role assists with patient care, prepares treatment areas, and helps with scheduling and administrative tasks under PT/PTA direction.

Qualifications

Standing or walking for extended periods.
Assisting with patient exercise instruction and demonstration.
Monitoring patient movement to ensure safety.
Light lifting or movement of equipment and supplies up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

Ensure the condition and cleanliness of treatment rooms and gym area meets standards.
Assist clinical staff with patient intervention following plan of care as directed by the PT or PTA.
Assist administrative staff with scheduling/rescheduling patients, answering phones, intake, and follow-up communications.
Maintain clean environment for patient safety and clinician efficiency, including supplies and laundry when applicable.
