Indiana Regional Medical Center, Inc. seeks a Rehab Aide to assist therapists, prepare treatment areas, and transport patients within the hospital.

The role supports exercises, maintains equipment, and upholds safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Previous healthcare exposure and BLS certification are preferred and required within 1 month of hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma required; CNA preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as rehab aide preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.

• Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistants with setting up equipment and preparing treatment areas.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions within the hospital.
• Clean and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas after use.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed.
• Support patients during exercises or ambulation under the direct supervision of licensed staff.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
• Provide general administrative or clerical support (e.g., restocking linens, filing, answering phones).
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
