Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapy Aide

Department: Rehab Services

Reports to: Director of Rehab Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Under supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director and the Physical Therapist, the Rehab Aide is responsible for providing assistance to the Physical Therapy Department.

Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and greet patients upon arrival.
  • Assist the Therapy team as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the department.
  • Stock department supplies and communicate when supplies are needed.
  • Assist with sourcing and pricing of supplies.
  • Prepare biohazard materials for pickup.
  • Teach and train new Aids.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with staff and communicate effectively.
  • Prioritize work effectively.
  • Use computers and scheduling systems proficiently.
  • Promote customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
  • Build a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to scheduled work times and attendance policies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED; BCLS certification.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree.
