Ivy Health's Palmyra, VA clinic is seeking a Therapy Aide to help keep the clinic safe and clean while assisting the front desk with phones, copays, and patient check-ins. You’ll support multiple therapy services, including physical, occupational, speech therapy, and ABA, in a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates are students in exercise science or healthcare fields who enjoy helping others and are eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Experience assisting front office tasks is a plus.
• Comfort with handling copays and check-in procedures.

Position Summary:

Our Therapy Aides are valued members of our clinic team. They ensure the equipment and clinic remain safe and clean for our patients, provide support to our front office team such as answering phones, collecting copays, checking in patients, and communicating with the patients and their family members. This is a great opportunity for students who are pursuing exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or anyone who loves being in healthcare and helping others.
