Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to support clinicians and patients. You will be involved in greet-and-check-in, scheduling, and patient onboarding while helping prepare treatment areas and equipment.

You will assist patients with exercises, monitor progress, and support home exercise programs, gaining hands-on healthcare experience in a collaborative PT/OT environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and appointments.
• Assist with scheduling and onboarding of new patients; help verify benefits and complete forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas; set up and adjust exercise equipment for therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
