Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering exceptional patient care. You will gain hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting clinicians, preparing treatment areas, and helping patients with exercises and home programs. A positive attitude and customer service experience are valued aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma, 18+ years old, healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Preferred: healthcare-related roles or certifications (PT aide/tech, MA, hospital work, PT/PTA student) and related education.

Responsibilities

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
