Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering patient care. You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy practice while supporting patients’ recovery.

The role focuses on facilitating patient check-ins, preparing treatment spaces, and assisting with exercises under supervision, with opportunities to grow healthcare skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare settings or customer service environments.
• Ability to learn quickly and assist clinicians and patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments.
• Assist with efficient patient intake, registration, and scheduling support for clinicians.
• Onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits, and complete medical forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, and set up exercise equipment for therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with home exercise programs and supervised activities.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.

• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
