Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Michigan seeks a Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists and patients. You will help with check-in, scheduling, onboarding, and preparing treatment spaces, while promoting a smooth patient flow. Training is provided, and you will gain hands-on exposure to PT/OT practices helping patients recover.

You’ll assist with exercises, monitor progress, and help patients carry out prescribed home programs in a team-focused, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients both by phone and in person during check-in and appointments.
• Promote efficient patient intake, registration, scheduling and assist clinicians.
• Onboard new patients, review forms, verify benefits and complete paperwork.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas, set up exercise equipment and support therapy staff.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
