Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to support patient care and therapy teams. You will assist with patient check-in, intake, equipment setup, and treatment area preparation while learning hands-on under guidance of licensed therapists.

Responsibilities include promoting efficient scheduling, monitoring progress, guiding home exercise programs, and maintaining clean, safe treatment spaces. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 18+ years of age.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Preferred: healthcare roles such as PT aide/technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, or fitness industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during the daily check-in and appointment times.
• Promote efficient patient intake and registration processes and assist clinicians with scheduling.
• Onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits, and complete medical forms.
• Assist Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Help patients perform exercises and support prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
