Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists and patients with daily activities, equipment setup, and entry-level care. Training is provided in a collaborative environment.

You will assist with patient check-in, scheduling, and documentation, while helping patients perform prescribed exercises and home programs under supervision.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience or customer service background preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• On-the-job training provided, no prior PT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and help patients during check-in and throughout appointments.
• Assist clinicians with scheduling and patient intake to streamline visits.
• Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork and verifying benefits.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas; set up and adjust exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and home exercise programs as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
