Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide at our Independence, MO clinic. This part-time role supports therapists, assists patients, and helps maintain smooth administrative and clinical operations.

You will assist in therapy areas, prep equipment, handle basic front-desk duties, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic culture with a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare settings or as a PT Aide preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients transitioning to therapy areas ensuring comfort and safety.
• Provide customer service and support to create a positive patient experience.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas per therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records and schedule appointments.
• Assist front office with daily tasks and billing procedures.
• Aid therapists during sessions by supplying materials and guiding exercises.

About The Role

As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist patients in transitioning to therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring patient needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.
• Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas based on therapist instructions.
• Maintain organized patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing procedures.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Aid therapists during therapy sessions by providing necessary materials and facilitating exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards assisting individuals in need.
