Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering exceptional patient care. This full-time role supports therapists, assists with setup, and helps patients progress through prescribed exercises.

You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to leading PT practices, with opportunities to grow healthcare skills and patient interactions in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and appointments.
• Assist with efficient patient intake, registration, and scheduling for clinicians.
• Help onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits, and complete forms.
• Support therapists by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and setting up exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and home exercise programs.

Status: Full-time 40 hours per week

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am - 7pm

In this position, you’ll receive hands‑on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check‑in process and throughout their appointment time.

• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.

• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Required

• High School diploma
• Must be 18+ years
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
