Job summary

Rebound-3 in Battle Ground, WA is seeking a Regular Full-Time Physical Therapy Aide to join our Battle Ground Physical Therapy Clinic. You will assist the Physical Therapy team with patient setup, transportation, and routine ambulation, while helping maintain department equipment and supplies.

This entry-level role offers mentoring for students pursuing a Physical Therapy program and provides opportunities to gain clinical experience under direct supervision of licensed therapists and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine patient treatment and care to patients of various ages under direct supervision of the Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Monitor patient's reaction to therapy and report significant changes or developments to therapist.
• Transport/escort patients to Physical Therapy treatment as needed.
• Assist in general department maintenance by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Change linen in patient treatment areas per department procedure.
• Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance of department equipment and supplies per department procedures.
• Order therapy supplies and maintains inventory of equipment and linen.
• Perform a variety of receptionist and general clerical duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Keep informed of health care issues, changing department procedures and other department information by attending staff meetings and/or reading staff meeting minutes, e-mails and newsletters.
• Use PT exercise software to format exercise programs for patients and clinical staff

Salary Range: $17.90 To $25.06 Hourly

We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapy Aide to join our amazing Physical Therapy team at our Battle Ground Physical Therapy Clinic. The Physical Therapy Aide assists various levels of personnel in their related clinical activities. This includes set-ups for patients, transportation, assisting in routine ambulation and therapeutic techniques. The Physical Therapy Aide also maintains inventory of department equipment, linen and supplies, assists with general clean-up, and performs receptionist/clerical duties as needed by the department.
