Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to join our outpatient rehab team. You will greet patients, assist with check‑in, help clinicians by preparing treatment areas, and support patients with exercises and home programs in a collaborative environment.

We offer hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy disciplines, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and developing healthcare skills for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology is preferred.
• Certified Personal Trainer experience is a plus.

• Assist with efficient patient intake, registration, and scheduling.
• Assist clinicians by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and equipment.
• Support therapists by setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Preferred

• Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
