Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Allen, TX is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering exceptional patient care. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship while supporting clinicians and patients throughout recovery.

This role involves preparing treatment areas, assisting with exercises, and helping with patient check-in and scheduling. A pathway to healthcare skills with exposure to physical and occupational therapy is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Preferred: healthcare experience such as PT aide/technician, MA, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry.
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
